Kevin Renn (he/him) was “born in the corn”, originally from Indiana, he’s now a New York-based playwright and screenwriter. Some of his works including Location, Location, Location, BLACKS + PHATS, Jungle Juice, and Padiddle have been developed with New York Theatre Workshop, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Classical Theatre of Harlem, Out of the Box Theatrics, Little Island (NYC), JAG Productions, and more.
His essay The Manny Diaries was published in the Modern Love column of The New York Times, and is now available for listening on the Modern Love podcast ('Do It, I Dare You'), narrated by Kevin himself.
Kevin has been a semi-finalist at the Austin Film Festival, and a playwriting fellow at MacDowell.
Currently, Kevin resides with two roommates, a bamboo plant, a vinyl copy of Whoopi Goldberg: Live on Broadway, and the dream of one day affording his own apartment.
